Abstrakt
Studies were uder take on fungi species identification of Armillaria (Fr.: Fr.) Staude genus in Poland using: mating tests, on the basis of macroscopic and microscopic features of fruitbodies and some phenological traits. The use of those criteria showed their utility for identification of fungi species of the Armillaria genus. Five intersterile biological groups were identified, as well as five species corresponding to the groups mention about: intersterile group A– A. borealis Marxmüller et Korhonen, intersterile group B – A. cepistipes Velenovský, intersterile group C – A. ostoyae (Romagnesi) Herink, intersterile group D – A. mellea (Vahl : Fr.) Kummer, intersterile group E – A. gallica Marxmüller et Romagnesi.
