Scots pine and Norway spruce flowering, cone cropping and seeds' quality in the Bialowieza Primeval Forest
The report presents the methods and the results concerning Scots pine and Norway spruce flowering, cone cropping, and seeds’ quality estimations the Bialowieza Forest. The observations were carried out in the years 1992–1997, in 11 tree stands which were regularly distributed on the Bialowieza Forest area. The methods and the results concerning the Scots pine pollen quality, which researches were carried out in the years 1992–1997 in 8 the Bialowieza Primeval Forest tree stands, are presented. The report contains also the plots concerning Scots pine defoliation level, which was estimated in 1993, on the base of the observations carried out in 28 tree stands in the Bialowieza Primeval Forest.
