The growth parameters of larch species of Polish origins aged at 40 years on the experimental plot in Rogów
Publication order reference: Abstract. The work consists of the evaluation and analysis in the variability in terms of growth and productivity of 15 larch’s Polish origins. The study was conducted over forty year’s period on an experimental plot in the Forest Experimental Station in Rogów. This study allows to indicate which larch populations should be encouraged in central Poland.
Based on research carried out in terms of dbh variability, it can be said that in the age of 40 years the thickest are larches from Myślibórz (28.5 cm), Grójec (28.4 cm), Kłodzko (27.9 cm), Skarżysko (27.7 cm) and Bliżyn (27.6 cm). Analysis of variation in the height of trees showed that the highest provenances are from Myślibórz (25.4 m), Szczytna Śląska (25.2 m), Moskorzew (24.9 m) and Ruda Maćkowa (24.8 m). The highest average yield of larch was recorded in Myślibórz (480.2 m3/ha), Skarżysko (461.1 m3/ha), Kłodzko (449.2 m3/ha), Dąbrówki (437.0 m3/ha) and Bliżyn (424.3 m3/ha).
