Possibility of Application of Beauveria bassiana (Bals.) Vuill spores to control the pine bark bug (Aradus cinnamomeus Panz., Hemiptera-Heteroptera)
The synergetic effect of pyrethroid and carbamate insecticides on entomopathogenic fungus Beauveria bassiana was investigated due to pine bark bug (Aradus cinnamomeus) control in forestry. In laboratory study the Fury 100 EC (zetacypermethrin) showed the lower negative influence on B. bassiana developement in comparison with the Karate 025 EC (cyhalothrin) and Marshal 250 EC (carbosulfan). Thus it was used in field experiment. The synergetic effect of this preparation on fungus was not so obvious but the entire mortality in insecticide-fungus variant was twice higher than in insecticide variant.
