Abstrakt

Lime leafminer, Phyllonorycter issikii (Kumata, 1963), one of the few invasive species of the family Gracillariidae (Lepidoptera), is characterized. Information about the description and origin of the species is given, as well as the possible ways of its spreading across Asia and Europe. Characteristics of imago prematural stages and some additional data about its bionomics are presented. All known food plants are listed. Possible factors affecting population of P. issikii are given.
