Abstrakt
The paper presents the results obtained during the twelve years of the ecological monitoring in the Białowieża Primeval Forest. A list of the collected soap beetles (Coleoptera: Kateretidae, Nitidulidae) is given. The suitability of Kateretidae and Nitidulidae for bioindication of the state of forest environment is analized. The usability of Cychramus luteus, the species most numerosly trapped, as an indicator of change in natural forests is pointed out.
